At Shriram Clinic and Medicare Centre in Fatehabad, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, patients were found to be treated in a strange manner. Treatment prescriptions and test reports of three patients admitted here were not found. Glucose was administered to them. The treatment was being done by Vineet Kumar, who claimed to be a BHMS degree holder. The patients were admitted in the basement. There was a delivery room as well, which was dirty. They were found running an illegal hospital under the guise of a clinic. Records have been summoned by issuing a notice banning the admission of patients.
CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava said that the team of Dr. Jitendra Lavania of the Health Department raided the Shriram Clinic and Medicare Center in Fatehabad. There were six beds in the basement and three in the ward on the ground floor. Three patients were admitted in the basement, one of whom was a child.
